[Experience Nature with Animals and Plants During the Day] Our park is home to rare plants that are hard to find elsewhere. You can enjoy unique displays such as our prized "Baobab Tree," known as the "Tree of Treasures," and the "Dragon's Blood Tree," famous for its longevity. One of our top attractions is the "Yusura Palm Avenue," a long line of palm trees that have grown from a single species over many years! In addition to plant viewing, you can interact with around 50 species of animals in nature. Capybaras, squirrel monkeys, and on weekends and holidays, we even host a Bird Performance Show! [Okinawa Tropical Illumination 2024-2025] This year's theme is "A Dazzling Paradise of Tropical Flowers." Featuring motifs of tropical trees and flowers, the new area will showcase a 20-meter giant whale shark and a Fruit Fantasy Area, creating a unique Okinawan illumination experience. In November 2024, Southeast Botanical Gardens received the 2nd Place award in the Illumination Category of the International Illumination Awards.

Southeast Botanical Garden Daytime Admission Ticket Chura Palm Park Okinawa Southeast Botanical Garden is one of the largest outdoor botanical gardens in Japan with over 50 years of history. On the vast grounds of approximately 45,000 tsubo (about 3 times the size of Tokyo Dome), visitors can appreciate more than 1,300 species of tropical and subtropical plants. Since the tickets are electronic, there is no need to purchase them at the counter on the day of visit, and admission is smooth! ＜Point＞ More than 50,000 plants of about 1,300 species can be seen.
